Any body in the know? ADP Scotland - form was created by lauren
Hi I sent my change in circumstances form to Adult disability Payment form back to Dundee after many weeks of difficulty actually getting it filled in. I have checked whether it has been received twice now and been told because its been sent to a PO Box its not possible for Royal Mail to sign it off as delivered even though I asked it to be signed for ,Is this true?
Also once in the PO BOX which I imagine is a room? How long before my form is actually picked up? My imaginations running away with me.Im thinking there are bags and bags of forms waiting to be picked up and scanned on to the system. Which could take months and time for sending them back will run out and payments stopped.
Does any one actually know what happens at the Dundee Adult Disability Payments building
As you might have guessed I also suffer with anxiety..
Thanks

I work for Citizen Advice Bureau in Scotland and we have sent ADP forms by registered mail to be signed for and got confirmation that it had been signed for.
Who was it who told you it could not be signed for ?
Why did you have to do a change of circumstances form - was your PIP or DLA claim transferred by DWP
Did you keep a copy of form ?
Suggest you phone Social Security Scotland and ask to note on your claim that you have posted back form and when.
You may want to raise your concerns with your MSP who may be able to find out more

I rang Royal Mail and she told me that they dont scan individual forms for PO boxes but scan a whole bag (presumably when they have a full bag to scan and the bag has a scan number). It did seem suspect to me.. I dont know what to do now.I keep ringing and they say its probably arrived but in mail room waiting to be scanned.Im at my wits end as it took me so long to complete. Thanks for your reply.

Can understand your frustration but when you phoned Social Security Scotland did you ask them to record on your record that you had returned form by registered post.
If you can it may be worth posting a copy of your proof of postage online using following link
