What delays? was created by polz66
Oh gosh! I asked on here 3 days ago about whether I should send my review form by recorded delivery. I was advised yes, so I posted it on Saturday.
Yesterday Royal Mail tracking showed me the signature proving receipt. This morning I get the text saying the health professional has sent us their report. I'm hoping this is good news?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi polz,
That's quick - so likely it's been completed based on your paper assessment. From what I've read on here in the past, the paper based ones tend to be positive news, so here's hoping.
Please let us know when you find out - Good luck!
Regards, Chris.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. I was sent a copy of health professional report - from 5 years ago. No one has even looked at my review forms, never mind written a new report.
I had an apology from the guy on the phone. He spoke to his supervisor who confirmed the text message was an error, I should have had a text saying they had just received my forms. He apologised again, confirmed again that no one had even looked at my forms and the process was actually just beginning. Oh well! It was too good to be true.

Hi polz66
Ouch! That is most unfortunate and horribly stressful for you. Glad to hear you had an apology (even though it probably doesn't help much!)

Hi polz,
I totally second what BIS has said. That is a pretty shocking thing to happen, that plays with people's emotions, even if it is just a text message, and was done in error.
I hope you're feeling okay after this!?
Regards, Chris.
