Hi,
I get PIP and DLA.
I wrote a screenplay which might be in the running for a cash prize. What if I actually won ? Would I have to notify the DWP ?

Hi Peterthemodest
It would depend on the cash prise and what benefits you are in receipt of. If in receipt of contribution based benefits then no, if in receipt of means tested benefit then may be.
We would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk , if you do win a major prize.
