I’m not sure if I’m allowed to post a link but this refers to some topical news courtesy of The Disability News Service regarding the new assessors who will be taking over PIP assessments -

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Blueberry Owl
I do not believe new assessors will be taking over PIP assessments. As WCA will go, DWP are talking about condition focused assessors .

Capita and Atos failed to win new contracts so I thought they were being replaced.
The article says
The successful bidders were Maximus in northern England and Scotland***; Capita in the Midlands and Wales; Serco in south-west England; Ingeus UK in London, south-east England and East Anglia; and Capita in Northern Ireland
Are these already doing PIP assessments?

B
ATOS (as they were) and Capita are the two current contractors, only ATOS was unsuccessful in the new bidding process.
