Migration to Universal Credit was created by tickingclock
My daughter receives contribution-based ESA so will not be affected by managed migration. She does however also receive Income Related ESA.

Will she still need to migrate to UC and do you know approximately when this will be? Thanks

Your daughter is receiving legacy ESA, this is a single benefit with two components, an Income Related one and a Contribution Based one, it is not two separate benefits.

So, your daughter will be migrated to UC and New Style ESA, her award at the time of migration will be moved over.

As to when she is to be migrated, if she is only receiving legacy ESA or legacy ESA with Housing Benefit then we are not currently expecting them to be migrated before 2028.
