Hi Gordon
I'm confused. I was awarded 2 points for "Needs prompting to be able to engage with other people*" back in 2019 or 2020.
I received a DWP letter today titled "Changes in PIP Law - we have looked at your PIP and it has not changed" (being too ill, scared and stressed since to approach them regarding deterioration re health problems (both physical and mental) and have just noticed your post mentioning " you may also have met the criteria for Needs social support to be able to engage with other people".
Since my 2019/2020 PIP award my MH is such now that I have had a CPN assigned, home visits, for approx 12-14 months (even that was initially problematic due to engaging with other people). My CPN comes to my home also to aid with personal legal services/home appointments I need and helps with the conversations when it all gets too overwhelming...she prompts and explains what's been discussed etc (she's like my walking tape recorder!) and I can email her over any queries I've forgotten.
Like I said I'm confused. I'm not sure if I should have been notified about this previously (another poster mentions getting a letter in 2023) or if it was down to me to notify the DWP myself?
Hope this makes sense, I'm trying to get myself in a pickle here.
Many thanks.

Hi sia7
You are replying to a post made nearly one ago.
You may want to get a supporting letter from your CPN and the apply for a MR, we would advise you to seek help from your local Welfare Rights Organisation; advicelocal.uk, they will be able to take all your circumstances into consideration when giving you advice.
