I’m about to call to request that my telephone assessment next week is recorded. Can I also at the same time request that it’s carried out by a mental health professional?
You can ask but it won't result in your assessor being a mental health professional. The DWP are satisfied that the training given to assessors is sufficient for them to review claimants with mental health issues.
