Returning mobility car as eyesight suddenly gone. I'll have to tell DVLA and motorbility
I'm on legacy benefits, full PIP. I don't want to go on UC. If I acknowledge worsening health with optimolgy problems will I be reassessed?I don't want to go on Universal Credit
If I tell motorbility and DVLA. Will I be reassed?

Hi Maher

I'm so sorry about your eyesight.

Your worsening eyesight will not impact your current award as you have full PIP. Motability will inform the DWP that you no longer have a car, and the money should then be paid to you. That won't trigger a review of your PIP.

Unless you want a change of group for ESA - there is no need to inform them of your worsening health. Although the DWP always says we should tell them, in reality, they actually want to know when people get better, not worse! You can inform them anytime in the future when you have a review.
