PIP extended was created by pauls1
Has anyone had a letter to say their PIP has been extended for a year
It basically says they will continue to pay my pip while they complete the review of my claim iff they haven't completed it by 4 October 2025 they may extend the end date of my pip award again
I'm not sure if it means they have started reviewing or not I sent my review forms in march this year

Hi Pauls1
You're certainly not the only person to have received such a letter. Hopefully a member will be able to tell you about their experience.

Hi,
It most likely means they still haven’t got to your review yet and are giving themselves more time.
It happened to me too last year. My award ended in November and I had sent them my review in march. I got my result in march this year. I shouldn’t think it will be much longer. Good luck!
