My capability for work questionnaire should have been returned 4 weeks ago but Citizens advice have repeatedly let me down with helping me complete it. I rang serco / health advisory assessment centre. They said they couldnt put a date on for an extension but not to worry as there was already a note on the file with no end date and dont need to explain why its late and wont affect UC. Ive now received notification of a medical on 8/11/24. Can i still return the form despite being so overdue & will they look at it before the medical?

Hi Mazzym00

I would definitely return the form now (making sure you have your own copy). I can't tell you whether they will read it before the assessment—they don't always do so, even when claimants return their forms on time.
