Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi UC
This is aggravating for you. I have attached a link to the government website about complaining to the DWP www.gov.uk/government/organisations/depa...complaints-procedure

Contact your local MP. I find that usually works best.

Thank you everyone!
I did indeed contact my MP, who swiftly intervened on my behalf!
This resulted in a rather curt letter from DWP (which clearly demonstrated that they regarded me as being a nuisance)!
Unfortunately, the non standard DWP letter only served to provide calculations that were applied to establish my weekly ESA payments and failed to tell me the amount of ‘extra money coming in’ that was verbally advised in one of my telephone calls to them.
I have established myself that a small weekly increase of £5.88 in a private pension has resulted in £10.16 a week reduction in my ESA payments.
In with one hand, out with the other…
Thanks everyone!

Hi UC:
I'm sorry that you have been given (and then had it taken away) - how aggravating. Good on you for getting onto your MP even though you haven't actually got the outcome you wanted.
