Hi Tuppence,
The single person's AET is £892 per month. How much is your partner paid by his employer per month?

Hi David
It varies as he takes overtime when he can but he’s paid 4 weekly. They are taking that figure and not a monthly figure (which exceeds the £892, just about). Last month he was ill and he does not receive sick pay from his employer hence not quite meeting the target. This new work coach says he must now meet the couples AET by himself by looking for another job. He has 2 already (SE earnings don’t count although he still has to report them each month) plus helping me. It seems unfair.

Hi Tuppence
If you tell me the town the Jobcentre is in. I can find you the manager to complain to via your UC journal.

Hi Tuppence,
The Jobcentre manager for your area is Hamera Ahmad.
So type out your complaint about the AET in the UC Journal for the attention of Hamera Ahmad , District Manager. When you have typed out the complaint in your UC Journal, from the drop down list choose A Payment. Then you can copy and paste the same message and this time from the drop down list choose the option Work Coach. It is important to send the complaint twice as they have been known to get lost in the DWP pipework.
Let me know how you get on
