dwp forced to attend Job centre for ID UC

I made application for Migration today from ESA support group severely disabled to UC, (which now realise should have waited as was due ESA payment in 2 days?). However as it was only day could get appointment with CAB, went ahead, made a mistake on ID section when trying to upload nd mistakenly pressed 'don't have any of these', on CAB advisers advice, resulting in being sent an appointment for local job centre to provide ID?.
I called helpline and completed journal to explain reasons why can't attend in person and could they re-enable my application so i can upload online?
Told would need letter from GP as proof can't attend in person, been bullied into either attend in person (albeit with minor adjustments) or can't claim? Mentioned equality act 2010 and very personal reasons (felt very undignified) and distress this would cause, but told cannot do online or over telephone, only in person? Asked me well how do I attend hospital appointments or get shopping? I just broke down in tears why are they making it so difficult to migrate?

I had this too a couple of years ago, I got a doctors note and liaised with the CAB. The CAB come back with an option of home visit for ID and in the end I just did this over the phone via telephone appt. Hold on in there, they can't make you do something you are unable too. See if there are other advice agencies in your area or try the national CAB line.
