UC Migration confirming identity - P60U?

Hello,

I'm just in the process of migrating from ESA to UC. I have just submitted my claim and am now being asked to confirm my identity.

From the list I have to choose 2 items. I have a valid passport. The only other item I have is a P60U issued by BA/DSS in April 2024 which shows Certificate of Pay and Taxable Benefit and Tax Deducted/Refunded. In this case for ESA I have received which has had zero tax deducted.

My question is would this be the same as a P60? And therefore valid to use for identity confirmation as one of the other items on the list?

Thank you in advance

Hi AJB

In my experience the DWP don't accept as ID documents that they themselves have issued.

Hi David

Thank you for your response.

It turns out you were right and they weren't able to confirm my identity online so now I'm to wait for call in the next 2 to 3 days.
