Can anyone advise how long PIP Reviews are currently taking? I submitted a review last September and have heard nothing other than the texts to say the DWP has my review claim.
My current award ends in early April, will my award be extended if DWP cannot give me a decision by then?

Hi Ben234
I'm sorry, but we can't tell you anything with any certainty. I think the DWP were saying that many were taking up to 6 months - but we know many claimants have been waiting much longer.

Hi,
I sent my PIP review to the DWP in December 2023 and had my telephone assessment in January 2025.
My award was extended in October 2024 for another year because of the assessment wait time.

I received my PIP renewal package last July (2024) for this March 2025. Duly completed and sent within their deadline.
I received a DWP letter a couple of weeks ago telling me that my PIP has been extended to March 2026 as my review is "not yet complete", and that if they still haven't completed the review by March 2026, they may extend my PIP award again......
