I missed a call from dwp regarding my mr was created by Dennana
Hi all , after having a sleepless night unwell I put my phone on silent this morning and fell asleep . I had a missed call from dwp then a text saying they’d ring back . Because I still feel rotten I forgot when I woke up to put the volume back on my phone . Smh I rang the number up and was told to look at uc journal for a message . There was no message so I sent a message to work coach who gave me dwp number relevant to me . It’s a first claim which I asked for a mr as I did get points but not enough for an award. I got a text a few days ago telling me I would hear from them by April. Id never of turned my volume off if I’d of thought I’d of been getting a phone call this soon after the text I could kick myself if I could. Anyway the lovely lady who answered the phone told me he had made a decision without speaking to me and I’d find out this week. Have I totally blew it? I thought they rang 3 times before any of that ? Honestly of all the days to be unwell smh .

Hi Dennana
It's not the end of the world, have you asked DWP for a copy of the assessors report called a UC85, you will need a copy if you have to appeal their decision.
I would contact UC helpline and also make a request on your journal for a copy of the assessors report called UC85.

Thanks Gary , I’ve not asked for anything cos I don’t know what’s been decided . I rang up to explain why I’d missed the 2 calls today and the lady said it’s fine he’s made a decision but it’s not on screen yet ? I thought it strange when I first rung the dwp the message told me to look on uc journal for a message and there was nothing there at all no message . Hence why I left a message explaining what had happened and logging in to find there was no message at all. I guess I will have to wait see what drops through letter box . Is it the usual thing to be rang a few times the same day? I thought they gave you 3 chances to answer your phone too ? Thanks for the reply.

Hi the letter come today . My points for DL stayed same at 6 but they gave me 4 for moving around which were not given before so I never got the award. Thinking of my next step I guess I ring pip and ask for the report ?

Hi Dennana,
That's correct. You want a PA4 form. You can ask for this 48 hours after your assessment. It should be ready for you if you've already received a letter, but definitely ask for it, as they're usually full of inaccurate information.
Chris.
