Hello,

My UC has closed due to the amount I have in my savings. I inherited money which meant I was no longer entitled to UC. My claim has been closed from the start of my current payment cycle 07/02/2025 and not the date I inherited the money 14/02/25. Is this correct? Or should I be owed one weeks UC? Prior to the inheritance I had less than £6000 capital.

I appreciate your help with this matter.

It looks correct to me. Your UC claim should be closed from the start of your assessment period.
