Hi, wondering if anyone can help/advise. I have recently had to submit my form for managed migration from ESA Support Group to UC. I have been told I have to go to the job centre with bank statements even though I am unwell and have medical evidence to support this. A few months ago I was awarded a back payment for benefit arrears for ADP (Scottish PIP) it has meant currently my savings look like they are slightly over £6000 I was told this does not count for twelve months. They now want to see every bank statement and are making me feel like a money laundering criminal. I have asked if I can send the documents online but so far no response. Can anyone advise me thank you for your help

Hi Shelly26

I would send a message on your Journal to the Work Coach asking why you had not been offered a home visit by a DWP Visiting Officer and say that you are considering a complaint to the District Manager for my County. You should also ask for the full name of the District Manager.

Let me know how you get on.

If you have continued difficulty with the DWP suggest you may want to contact your MP some of them are very helpful in raising problems with the DWP or govt minister.

Hi thank you for your replies. I had a reply to my journal that after considering my disabilities they have cancelled the in person appointment and will let me send my documents online. I obviously still have the stress of having to sort all of that out but at least I don’t have to go in person which would be very difficult because of my disabilities. I am so worried about it all because of the back payment I have a letter which shows the back payment amount that I will send a copy of but I feel so stressed about the whole thing. Thank you anyway for all your help and advice I will bear it all in mind and if I have further issues will try to also contact my mp which I hadn’t previously considered as I thought it was too minor for them to bother about. Thank you for your help best wishes
