Sorry, I just wanted to moan about the latest episode of banging one's head against a brick wall (aka my PIP claim).
They invited me for a "video consultation". I haven't got a clue how to do one of these, but even if I did know what I was doing and could buy/borrow the necessary equipment at short notice, I live with family so it is not possible to do such a consultation in private. I wrote to Maximus immediately to tell them this and to make alternative arrangements.
This was several weeks ago - today I received a letter telling me I didn't attend, and to provide them with some reasoning. I will include a copy of the letter sent to Maximus.
I am sorry to hear about this. How typical and terribly stressful for you. Hope they accept your 'reasoning'. I would also write a letter to the DWP - now - saying what happened and send copies of the correspondence your received from Maximus and your replies. It is another way of showing that you are engaged - before Maximum send back to the DWP that you weren't willing to take part.
