UC migration and carer's allowance

Hi

I am in ESA support group and have joint claim with my wife, who is also my carer.
Recently had successful PIP review and got enhanced both.

My wife claimed carers allowance a few years back but hasn't since as they just took the same amount out of ESA.

Was thinking of claiming CA now as got advised that it would mean getting more UC when migration came about.

Yesterday received migration letters. Now wondering if wife should claim carer's allowance or whether UC carer's element would be better?

Would be grateful for any advice on this please.

Thanks for your reply and advice.
I am unable to change my user name as it won"t let me change text is user name field.
I have tried on phone and laptop.
I have posted previously and I believe my username was different.
