I am confused, I know this isn't my thread, but are they asking for bank statements straight after migration for everyone ? I am soon migrating in a few days. Can I ask the OP why this happened to you ? Also what is Ecospend ?
Ecospend is being rolled out by the DWP in a Test and Learn process. It is being trialled in limited areas such as Manchester and Liverpool. Ecospend is configured to the Universal Credit IT and there is no need to create a separate account. You can refuse permission if you dont wish to enable it. No not everyone is being asked for bank statments.
