Hi, I returned my PIP light touch forms in the first week of August. I am 65 years old and previously had a ten year award which runs out in June. I have not received anything from PIP as yet. I have rang around 4 times and each advisor has given different reasons as to why I have not had a reply regarding my claim. I am very worried regarding Labours new cuts and wonder if this is why my claim is being held up. I will not receive any state pension until February 2026 so I am very worried. Thanks
I'm sorry you haven't been able to get a straight answer from them. I think it is unlikely that it has been held up because of the cuts. You sent the form back in August, and they are dealing with a backlog. All you can do is keep ringing.
Whatever changes are being made will be announced tomorrow, and Steve will report on them in the newsletter. Then, you will be able to see if it is going to affect you.
