Thank you so much for this - to be fair, I don't really understand it all, but reading about some of the problems brought back so many memories from my son's childhood which I had almost forgotten about. Unfortunately, most of my son's health problems seem to stem from his autism and the dysfunctional way his immune system works, but so few of the medics seem to understand this, let alone acknowledge it.

I would very much like a "simply worded explanation" if the Mods are willing to bear with us - I know this isn't really what the forum is for, but it's been so helpful!
