PIP was created by Fleur33
Hi,
Received a text this morning saying that I will receive a letter regarding their decision about my renewal claim within 2 weeks. I have been waiting since early last August.
I rang the PIP helpline and after putting in my details it said my payment was due tomorrow.
Does this mean my award is unchanged as ot is the usual amount.
Would the payment continue until my award ends in the summer if they have decided not to renew my claim?
Thank you

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Fleur33
I can't tell you what it means - you will only know when you see what amount is in your bank account.

Hi Bis,
I telephoned PIP later this afternoon and waited for over an hour to speak with someone who was really lovely. I asked what date my letter had been posted regarding my claim. I was then told without asking that I had my PIP award, which remains the same. What joy 😃 and that the award is for ten years as before.
I followed all the advice here on B&W and added A4 sheets of paper explaining in full to ALL the questions, not just ticking the boxes for the light touch review.
I sent off new reports from ALL consultants, explaining in detail the severity of all my conditions and gave details of how to contact ALL of them. I also enclosed copies of my recent scans and tests. I also stated the descriptors as there was nothing noted on the forms, unlike the usual PIP forms I had received in the past.
I explained I could not do them safely, reliably or when needed to and the law states if this is not possible it should be agreed I could not do them at all.
I hope this will help others here.
Big thank you to B&W and all the moderators x
