Hi, quick question - I think the answer is no, but can't seem to find clear confirmation of this:
As Universal Credit is assessed according to household, what happens if I move back in with my elderly parent? Does their level of capital affect my claim at all, or is it only partners and any dependent children of mine, if I had any, that need to be taken into consideration? Thanks.
As you say it is only your partner's and children's circumstances in that instance that would affect your claim. It doesn't matter how much savings or income your parent has.
