Finding my ESA level online ? was created by Chronos65
Hi all

Is there a way to find out online exactly what ESA status I'm on ?
I tried the Gov.UK portal but it already assumes that I've already moved to UC -which I haven't as I've only just got the notification.
I really mean a way that doesn't involve contacting a Job Centre.

''If you are in the support group on contributory ESA, you should automatically be classed as
having Limited Capability for Work and Work-Related Activity (LCWRA) for UC. This means that
the LCWRA element should be included in your UC calculation, which helps make up for some
of the deduction for your ESA from your UC award.''

Does the above apply to 'Income related' also, as I am in the Support Group ?

Thanks all

Hi Chronos66

As you are in the ESA Support group then you will be in the UC LCWRA group.

But is there somewhere you can see the full status of your claim by logging in to a social security/Gov page or link?

Hi Chronos65

Unfortunately not. You may get that information by making a SAR ( subject access request ) to the DWP. You can do that now online.
