Final deadline on migration was created by a-t
Hi if you was to miss your deadline day on your migration notice, but claimed before the final deadline day before the end of the first asscement period, does this mean your claim will start on the day you submitted your claim after you had missed your first deadline? or does it get backdated to the first deadline day? basically does it get backdated only in order to receive transitional protection or does it get backdated for both transitional protection and the start of the claim even tho you have submitted a claim after the first deadline has passed Many thanks

Hi a-t

No, there is no backdating at all. Your UC claim starts from the date that you submit it.

Thank you David, so the only thing that happens is you are still entitled to transitional protection if a claim is made before the end of the first asscement period? but the actual claim starts on whatever day you submit your claim after missing the first deadline? Many thanks

Hi would it also mean you wouldn't have to send in sick notes and be reassessed if you claimed after your first deadline day and claimed before your final deadline day and be put straight into LCWRA?

sorry for all the questions I find it confusing

Many thanks
