URGENT QUESTION ABOUT PIP

Hello, I can't' see a way to start a new topic on the forum, been a member for years, the new proposals with PIP,
When the government say you need to score 4 points on the daily living part to get any PIP award,
Does that mean if you don't score 4 points on one category under daily living that you will then not even get an award for PIP mobility as well?
For instance you score 20 points daily living but only because you scored 2-3 points for every category, but didn't get 4 for one category at all,
but for mobility you score extremely high 12 or more,
Does that mean no award for Mobility at all either because you scored no 4 points in the daily part?.
Does anyone know if i am thinking correctly? as this is going to wipe out a huge amount of people who may need helping seriously with mobility issues and getting around outside.

They are suggesting that no matter how many points total you have in the Daily Living section, if you don't get at least 4 points in one Daily Living category then you won't be awarded anything for Daily Living. It doesn't affect Mobility.

Remember, there's still a consultation to be had about it all.
