Thank you Gaddy,
You are right in relation to being stressed. I currently also have a huge ASB case going on with my neighbours involving loud music, rowdy behaviour, drinking, drugs, intimidation and threats, which are causing me many sleepless nights, and daytime panic attacks - hence why sometimes I may not seem with it when I'm replying on here - I knida get sidetracked and confused. Sad thing is, whilst my ASB team are brilliant in helping, the police, some take great care in helping, and others say "Sorry, it's not a police matter" - so at times, I don't always feel like I'm getting help for that - but honestly, thank you Gaddy - your appreciation genuinely means a lot

I have had many years of living with neighbour noise, not as extreme as yours which sounds just terrible, but it has caused me great distress at times. I have found mostly the ones who are most disruptive to other peoples lives don't care a jot and have a weird sense of entitlement they do not have to consider others.
Noise cancelling headphones have proved to be a useful aid at times!
I really hope this issue gets resolved for you soon knowing the impact it can have.

Hi Gaddy,
Thank you for your reply, and sorry to hear of your issues also. This seems to be a huge problem in a lot of areas!
I do have a few pairs of Noise Cancelling Headphones, and they work to an extent, but even over them, and silicone earplugs I wear at times - the asb noise overshadows it. To make things more difficult also, a lot of the asb comes from a child ( not yet of a teen age group ) and his parent allows him to have sex, drink, take drugs and listen to whatever loud music he likes, because she is in fear of him. Even last week, he set fire to her back garden, near the wheelie bin, which could've hit my car and caused fatalities, and nothing came of it, despite me informing the police and my landlord.
They definitely don't have any compassion towards others like you've said - but I'm hoping this issue is resolved soon because I've been informed by my landlord that they are currently seeking repossession of the property through the courts. This has been ongoing since October 2024.
I don't think single person flats either have any soundproofing - so this makes things even more difficult.
Regards, Chris.

Hi.
I found the fact that they questioned me regarding my adult daughter and if she had a blue and if not then why not.
Why would they feel it ok to discuss another adults particulars at my assessment. Wish I had been strong enough to challenge them.
