Contribution ESA was created by angrymum
Hi my partner was put into the support group for contribution ESA.
His social prescriber has mentioned permitted work, when able to.
I need to be prepared in the long run, how long does this esa last ie when will they start to look at my earnings, savings, or even the full switch over to UC.
For income we also have adult children still at home will they look at that eventually. As I've read for council tax they will. When I've done s benefit calculator online it says we also entitled to uc of £22 with the esa. I've not put a claim in as I've had hassle from uc in the past and cannot put up with continuous phone calls even though in work.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi angrymum
Payments of Contributions Based ESA carry on regardless of Managed Migration.
If you would like prospective advice you can phone Citizens Advice Help to Claim.
Here is a recommendation from Forum member VIA-

Do you know if they can do advise via phone or zoom as I'm immunosuppressed for covid and still keep numbers low. Due 11th jab soon so being extra cautious.

Hi angrymum,
Not sure about these, but they do offer a live chat function.
