can you claim the the disability component of universal credit and be in a relationship? can they ask you to do voluntary work or look for work... attend interviews ... i am in scotland what are the difference of being in a relationship and being single while claiming the disability component of universal credit.
Universal Credit is the same in Scotland as in England. If you are placed in the Support/LCWRA group you don't have to do work related activities but you do if you are in the WRAG/LCW group. The DWP cannot stop you from being in a relationship but that is different from " living together ". 2 people living together generally get less total Benefits than the same 2 people living apart.
