conflicting migration letters esa to uc

my adult son received a letter in january from UC heading (my note lifelong condition)
UC migration Notice (statimg you wil soon stop getting the following benefits Income Related ESA)

followed by a letter 3 days later from Jobcentreplus stating (from 7 April 2025 your rates ...based on your National Insurance Cntributions records)
cont...
living expenses xxxx
extra money for disabiity iincome guaratee xxxx
extra money because you are in the Support Group xxxx

PIP daily living component NOT COUNTED
PIP mobiity componrnt NOT COUNTED
applies from 8 April to 24 November.

my question below

Are the contributions based esa support group esa award claimants migrating via making a claim for UC and OR are there seperate categories in this group, with other factors to consider?

if so do carers/parents need to become LPA or can we be a representative as before?

our sitation is slightly different of course as expected.

Ive looked at the process for the online claim and the ID section.
ID for those living at home, seems to be harder to fulfil, as essentiall bills etc, may be in parent name.
I see the attend jobcentre with ID, can this be provided by a third party in person? if social anxiety/autism make this problematic to achieve.

if parent claims as appointee for example, whose ID is needed?
