Benefits and work A MUST JOIN FOR EVENTUAL PEACE OF MIND CLAIMS was created by karenrix
I have been aware of this excellent website help page for a few years. As far back as 6 years ago I used the DLA guide books to help my dear neighbour claim as he needed a MOTABILITY car due to many complex issues he has. He just was totally overcome with the complex questions even back then! I supported him, with Benefits and Work info guides and he was successful in receiving High Award Mobility and was able to get his disabled adapted car.
Well now it’s my turn, I’m being asked to change or migrate to UC from ESA support group. I have been overwhelmed by the worry anxiety concern that I’m about to lose my benefits listening to Labour in the news.
It has put so much pressure on me I’ve been very emotional. But I turn to Benefits and Work site again follow guidance set out I called the info citizen advice and they started the process of reassuring me and helping me get into the correct place to begin my claim
Without this website I know I would be an emotional mess. What these Government politicians do to each other when they play their games is bad enough but they revel in that bullying it seems, but to treat disabled with anything but respect is absolutely shocking. All we want to do is have a decent life despite our challenges. So thank you Benefits and Work, you are the total opposite of these judging MP’s who feel it’s their right to point and judge us whilst they should have the view they work FOR us. Benefits and Work are doing such great work here please join this website use these information guides, you WILL thank the team once you get through that I do know. Thanks again B&W team for all you do in keeping every guide info up to date!

Hi Karenrix
Thank you for taking the time to write your post. I'm glad to hear that you were able to support your friend with their DLA claim from our guides and that you are now getting extra support from the CAB for yourself, and continue to use the guides here. Hope that your migration goes smoothly.
