Still confused over the new proposals. I have yet to migrate to UC from support group ESA. I hear that the proposals will half the health element of UC . As I haven't had a migration letter yet, will this affect me or because I'm already in the system and on ESA will I keep the support payment (lCWRA )or whatever it's called . Also , I'm on contribution based ESA but I do get housing benefit, so I assume I will still have to migrate because of the housing benefit part ? Thanks
You should be Migrated to UC before Xmas this year so you won't be affected by the new proposals. As you say you will need to claim UC as you will need something to replace the Housing Benefit for your rent.
