Hi smc I'm sorry to hear that you are having to put in a complaint. It's not fair that they are just ignoring your messages especially when you have been told they have been read! BIS

I put complaint in middle of May and have heard nothing from them.

My third statement has been done so that is potentially a third month of overpayment. Not sure if worth me posting yet another journal message about it as all messages since 23rd April have gone unanswered.

Hi smc

This would be a temporary measure whilst the DWP sort out their IT systems.
You will get a Benefit statement in your UC account 4 days before you receive your first payment.

What is a temporary measure?

I think a reply of mine is missing........I put in complaint in middle of May but not heard anything yet. Imput complaint in as not had any response to numerous journal messages since 23rd April.

I have now had third UC statement so potentially a third month of overpayment. Not sure if I should bothr5 putting message on journal given they get ignored.

Hi smc

All you can do is put the overpayment to one side. The DWP changed the law so that UC can go after an overpayment at any time even if due to official error.

Yes I have been putting the money to one side but I fear if this carries on for too long I will go over the £6000 thershold!

It just seems crazy they can just ignore you on your journal for 6 weeks and counting, you put complaint in and there is no timescale for how long they can take to deal with it and are left with potential overpayments mounting up.
