Scottish Child Payments stopped? was created by neptune1980
Hello all

Hoping someone can help with this. We normally get Scottish Child Payments for our children and have been since they started.

We migrated over to UC after the migration letter last year after being on Child Tax Credits. My children are under 16

We also get Scottish Child Disability Payments for them.

But out of the blue we got this letter today? I'm confused why they have stopped our Scotland Child Payments?
We're we never even suppose to get them even? Will this mean a huge overpayment?

Hope someone help.

Won't let me attaxh letter but this is what it says.

Replied by BIS on topic Scottish Child Payments stopped?
Hi neptune1980

I'm really sorry, but your question is outside the remit of this forum. The only way to find out why your payments have stopped is to ring them and enquire. I don't even have a suggestion from what you have said. I know it is scary - and you're worried about an overpayment - but it's just as scary losing the money, not knowing why and having this hanging over your head. Please take the plunge and ring them.

Wishing you the best of luck.
