Thank you . I had to have a phone call appointment to get verified.. and it was really straight forward he asked me a few questions about what other benefits I got. how long I lived in this address and I cant remember now the other questions but they were straight forward and only answers I would know.. I didnt have to go in to show my expired passport at all.. As going into a job center would have been very stressful for me as I had noone to accompany me and not safe to go alone due to my balance conditions that are worsened by stress. So for anyone reading this and worrying please take deep breaths and believe me when I say its not all bad.. (I was also freaking out when I got my migration letter so much that I didnt do anything about it till the last month) and I hope your journey through the migration is as straight forward as mine. I get my first UC payment this Friday 8 August.. (The only thing that confused me in how much they are giving me is that they deducted ESA saying I was still claiming it, but after speaking to UC on phone the agent told me to call ESA dept as they dont have same systems. When I spoke to ESA department she told me that I was on both Income related and Contributory ESA which I had no idea I was. Always thought I was on Income Related ESA all these years. She told me my claim had started in 2017 which I couldnt even remember !)
Another word of advice if anyone is worried please call the Citizen's Advice Help To Claim Line they are really very helpful and understanding and reassuring to us that are panicking and stressed I had lovely chats about my cats which helped calm me down too lol
