Hi All

Would anybody know the correct procedure a report should be wrote
I recently had a PIP review by phone from a Capita representative
Firstly denied a recorded telephone interview and it clearly states on the letter to ask at start of interview and this can be done
But was told as I have already gave my name and NI number for security it cannot be done interview had started

I only got 6 points, points I received previously have become 0 this time i was looking at the report on very first page it give details of person who done report just says nurse and FS should I not be entitled to know what type of nurse she is also report undated
Report is dated on last sheet but date is about2-3 weeks after interview she is expected to remember all what we talked about for that long

Hi Darren

The assessor was talking complete rubbish - that's not what it says on the website. www.haas.capita.co.uk/en/pip/telephone

I would put in a complaint.

It used to be that they should complete the report within 48 hours and return it to the DWP. Capita say that they have never been held to this. But I would include in your complaint - about the length of time particularly if you think the report is inaccurate.

I don't think they have to say what type of nurse they are.

They don't have to say what type of nurse they are, but in my experience if you question them they may tell you. Not that it's any assurance, a 'mental health nurse lied repeatedly, cut'n'paste fashion, that someone I accompanied "coped well with the assessment" The claimant has diagnosed anxiety and depression and meds for them. They sniffled throughout, HE passed them tissues, and they sobbed audibly at three points. As I had recorded it myself I was able to disprove the lies and get them a full award.
I was also able to find out what kind of nurse was assessing me, but she still didn't know much about my rare condition :(
