My son has just given up work to look after me, I claim PIP, he has put in a claim for Carers allowance, my question is - can he claim UC, for instance income support, due to low income. Will he be expected to look for a part time job, as the whole reason he has given up work is to be available for both myself and my husband who is also disabled and claiming PIP. Thanks in advance for any advice.
