Submitted ESA to UC migration - questions about journal? was created by Jasmine3234
Hi I have a few questions about the UC journal after submitting my claim last night.
1. Why are certain things highlighted even though II have completed them.
2. When will I hear about New Style ESA, and what happens when I do?
3. How long does it take someone to respond to a message/note in your journal.
4. When is the best time to contact the council about the migration - is it best to leave it until I know what I will be
getting (hopefully the same amount) or is this done automatically.
5. I get IIB lifetime award which gets taken off my ESA and the have told me to contact them to let them know... why?
Sorry for all the questions, but it is such a minefield! Thanks.

Hi Jasmine3234
I don't know why text is highlighted. Keep an eye on your To Do's they are important.
There is a backlog of Migration claims at present so I cannot predict about NS ESA.
It's the same with Journal messages. There is a backlog as they are rushing through Migration .
Contact the Council when you get your first payment. Or if you really want to , contact them when you get your payment statement on your UC account which is 4 days before payment day.
I cannot answer question 5 maybe someone else can hopefully
Let me know how you get on.

Hi, I know you guys are so busy at the moment, but I submitted a question over 24 hours ago and I don't know whether it has been received, or to submit again.
I apologise if it is in the queue to be answered.
Thanks J.
