Severe Disability Criteria and Severe Disability Payment

Hello, hope you can help please.

Today, in Parliament it was said that anyone who fits into the Severe Disability Criteria would no longer have to have an assessment. Please can you confirm that this is the case, was that actually said or have we misheard and if it is correct does this refer to ESA and UC LCWRA claims? Also, if someone is In receipt of the Severe Disability Payment (has migrated from ESA Support Group with transitional protection to UC LCWRA) does that mean that they are classed as being in the Severe Disability Criteria, therefore they will no longer be reassessed?

Thank you for any help.

Hi Eveshell

I'm afraid I'm unable to confirm whether this was said or not, because I wasn't listening. . You can read what was said so far in the newsletter benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/what-has-chan...uc-and-pip-bill-vote
