How does UC work out knew stile esa

How does UC work out knew stile esa was created by spasm
UC keep telling me I have more ESA paid into my account, but they do say it's and approximation. They say I have £609.05 when I actually have £281.10.

The only way I can workout I am getting £609.05 pounds, if they calculate my ESA by the year i.e £281.10*26/12 equals £609.05. is this how they work out new style ESA and universal credit together?

Hi spasm

UC is paid monthly whereas ESA is paid fortnightly, as you correctly state they calculate my ESA by the year i.e £281.10*26/12 equals £609.05. This sum is then deducted from your UC applicable amount.
