Returning Pip review form by special delivery was created by beehive 1904
Hello
I have been dent a Pip Review form. In the past I`ve sent anything to DWP by guaranteed signed for next day delivery but they are encouraging using their freepost system.....interested to know if others are still using guaranteed next day signed for as I don`t trust freepost either to get there in time or perhaps arrive at all......

Hi beehive 1904
Yes, they want you to use the free post - saying that it means the claimant won't have to endure any costs - but it's really because they don't want the DWP to have to keep signing for people's forms.
Personally, I would always use tracked post where the DWP have to sign for it - that way they can't say they didn't receive the form.

Hi,
It`s my understanding that any mail sent to DWP goes to a Royal Mail `distribution point` where it`s signed for by whoever is there. From there it`s then `scanned in to the system`.
If my understanding is incorrect, please correct me.
Andy
