Hi everyone I'm new here .I'm so desperate for some advice .I don't no were else to turn to.june 2024 I asked for my sons dla to be reviewed as he was on middle rate care and I believed he should of been on the high rate .dec 18th I made the claim for uc to come over from esa tax credits and we received our first payment on the 24th jaunary .long story short my sons been awarded the high care from June 30th 2025 .tax credits have paid from June to the 17th of Dec 2024 and universal credit have backdated from the day I made the claim the 18th December 2024 till now under special circumstances how ever they have said its out of assessment period and took 350 pounds a month from December in transisitional protection off us what we should of been entitled to in higher rate child disability rate uc so we are not a penny better off could I please have some advice off anyone please

We cannot give you advice as we do not have all the facts, we would advise you to contact your local Welfare Rights Organisation: advicelocal.uk where they can take all your circumstances into consideration.
In your post you say you asked for a review and not a change of circumstances therefore the out come will be different which is why you need to seek advice.
