Does a routine yearly rent increase trigger a re-assessment of either PIP or UC?

Hi again everyone

I applied for PIP for the first time several weeks ago and am just migrating across from ESA and HB to UC.

Every year, my landlord increases the rent, and I send a copy of the latest years lease to the HB dept. This is at the start of April and at the start of June, HB increase my rent by a little.

Under UC and or PIP, would this routine exercise count as a "change of circumstances" and be enough to trigger eg a new assessment of PIP which I would want to avoid of course...if I get it in the first place...!! I am guessing not now as PIP is currently not income related?

Hi lonewolf6565

An increase in rent will not trigger a health assessment of PIP or UC/ESA
