Advice please on whether I'm receiving the correct UC after migration was created by Jen
Hello
I have dyslexia and my maths is poor (!) please could someone advise me if I am receiving the correct amount of UC?
I was previously on:
£489.30 ESA + SDP fortnightly - ESA MONTHLY £978.60
My monthly PIP is £749.80
So previous total per month was £1,728.40?
I've just received this statement for UC
Standard allowance = £400.14
LCWR = £423.27
Transitional protection = £236.74
Total entitlement before deductions = £1,060.15
(Minus £8.70 due to £6,480.26 savings)
Monthly £1,051.45
PLUS £749.80 PIP = £1801.25 PER MONTH
I was expecting less on UC so I'm confused
Many thanks Jen

Thank you, I have checked with Citizens advice and it is correct.
Can you advise me on how often each month should I be reporting chnages in savings please? I have asked on my journal but received an unclear reply.
My savings were over £6K by £480 when I applied (reported) This going to be higher after my 1st UC payment. Should I report monthly any changes? Many thanks

Hi Jen
When you look at savings your current UC award is not counted as savings until your next assessment period.
It is a question you should ask your work coach, for every bundle or part bundle of £250 you loose £1.00 pw in tariff income.
