Hi I had my review. I was on enhanced for daily and mobility. As usual plenty lies were printed for upsetting reading. I only scored 2 points for using an aid in my bathroom. I had my pip taken away in April. I did my mandatory reconsideration.

I had a call last week out of the blue from a lady who asked me about all the points I gained in 2018. As you will know that things get far worse by the age of 70. I felt so upset in the phone call and said the truth was not printed. I had sent in my consultants letter from rhmatolagy telling them how my hands and were very deteriorate from my phoriatic arthritis. My bone scan also shows that the spine and hips have osteoporosis and my condition needs extra help. My gp also sent a letter explaining my other conditions. Allergies on my face , asthma, spinal artificial replacements in my cervical spine, parifial nevre damage and finally mental health ptsd
I scored 11 point in each section.
I got no points for needing another person in Social situations . Things I scored for before have been disregarded.
I only have until the 6th if September to challenge this
I do not know if I should ring them as time is running out.
I really struggle with doing these posts and really need support. I feel it is so unfair. They took no notice when I said I have fatigue and just have to stay in bed on many days. I felt so upset on the call and said I feel you are putting me in a state as I have already been through everything and most of my report was so untrue.
Please help. I really am not well enough to face a tribunal. I did this in 2018 and it affected me very negatively..
Thank you

Hi buffy54

I'm sorry that you find yourself in this position.

I know you're very upset, but I'm not entirely certain from your post what to advise you do next because I'm not sure of a couple of things.

1. The call you had last week - What reason did the lady give for the call? How did it end?

2. Deadline 6th September - is this to put in an appeal? You can register an appeal online and give one reason for doing so. Then you can go back in and add things up to two weeks before a tribunal takes place. The wait varies, but it can take up to a year. If you don't want to attend an appeal, you can request that they conduct a paper-based assessment. You can find the information in the Guide to PIP Appeals. benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip

3. Unfortunately, although we can try and answer your questions - we are not able to offer any other type of support. I am still curious what the lady said when she rang you and whether you are expecting any outcome from that call.
