LTR outcome. was created by CJW04
Hello,

I don’t have my report yet but I do know the outcome of my LTR was they’ve taken away my enhanced daily living to standard. Despite having more issues, needing more support, and mobility issues. Of which I cannot walk 200 metres. (Not that my assessor even asked me that). Luckily I’ve had my assessment recorded. It’s been listened to by someone who deals with these things and helps with claims. She said I haven’t been treated fairly.

I am going to ask for a MR, which I know won’t have a great outcome. They rarely do. And I am fully prepared for a tribunal.

1. How is a MR laid out? How should I do that in the best way?
2. If by magic. Does this usually get anything changed? Do they go “oh this was awarded wrong”.
3. I’m fully prepared to go to tribunal.

Just annoyed… luckily I had the assessment recorded.

Any advice appreciated. I did read through some of your tips. But I got flustered.

Hi CJW04

There is a form for completing an MR - or you can choose to write a letter. The information is in the Guide to PIP Appeals.

Only 27% of MRs are successful. The majority of decisions remain unchanged.. benefitsandwork.co.uk/guides-for-claimants/pip
