My son is on Universal Credit with the care component. I would like to gift him £3000 towards his ongoing bills. He has no savings. Would this affect his benefits?

Hi ANNNEMACK

No this would not affect his Benefits and it is unlikely to affect his Council Tax either if he has to pay it.
