how does an inherited pension lump sum affect the carers allowance was created by Claire
My husband has recently passed away and I will receive his private pension lump sum., I receive carers allowance for my disabled son.
Could anybody tell me the how they calculate the loss of my allowance and for how long I will lose it for.

Having savings does not affect Carer's Allowance.
